With ear buds in, listening to music while I design marketing material puts me in my "zone". My own little world that is surrounded with love, peace and harmony. My world that is encased with black letters on a white screen and Design elements swirling across my screen.
My "play" is getting up and setting up the camera and video to take photography shots for the next month's training, and continue video creation for this month's training. This is play for me. I'm never happier than when I am creating or writing.
I love the constant bounce of going from left brain to right brain. Strategizing business, negotiating contracts, developing marketing strategies. Then I bounce over to the creative side and implement the designs that I've just developed with my left brain. The Yin and Yang within me.
The Sun, Yang, Left Brain, Strategic side merges with the Moon, Yin, Right Brain, Creative side. There I am in perfect harmony. It is in gratitude that I look back at the years it took to develop my bounce ability. The years in college when I was granted the ability to take a bigger course load than what was normally granted.
Feeling grateful for all the years that I didn't "have a life"... because I was busy with my college classes. Of course... some would say that I still don't have a life. I laugh... my life is incredible... for me.
I'm in my own little world that extends out to the entire world. Today I chatted with an individual in France. I've chatted with an individual from Spain. I've chatted with individuals from Africa. I've chatted with individuals from around the world and in the US from all walks of life.
We are all seeking the same thing. To live a happy life and have sufficient resources to take care of ourselves and those that are dear to us. Our similarities outweigh our differences. It's amazing when you focus on people instead of the news, just how small our world becomes.
Regular people reaching out to each other. Giving each other encouragement. Being supportive of what we are striving to achieve.
This big wonderful world is at my fingertips. With ear buds in, listening to music from creators around the world... life is good!
