One of the most important things we need to accomplish in our lives, is learning how to love ourselves and to feel secure with who we are. Far too often we are more busy looking at how someone else should improve, rather than focusing on where we can improve.
Our emotional response to picking others apart, reflects our inner dialogue of how we pick ourselves apart. We can't hide our thoughts, when our thoughts are in a constant state of being critical of ourselves. These thoughts, naturally flow out of our mouths to being critical of others.
It comes down to how we see our self-worth and value. You are a unique individual. There can never be another you. Even if you were to be cloned, there would be essences of you which could not be duplicated. We are not machines where we can easily have our inner thoughts and emotions downloaded, duplicated, and transferred into another body.
While this may be a nice plot and theory for fiction novels and movies, it is a false narrative. The celebration of our ability to be secure with who we are, strengthens and helps others to celebrate who they are.
Take time to reflect on inner thoughts regarding your self-worth. Today may be a good day to start working on how we view ourselves and those around us.

We have no control over another person's emotional response. We only have control over our own. It's tough enough to figure ourselves out.
There will only ever be one of you. You're already unique. Be a character. Be you! Celebrate the person you are.
When you are secure with who you are, you help celebrate another who is secure with who they are. Live. Laugh. Love... Together.
