Perfection... it is what we often strive for and what we often find that perfection is based on personal opinion. Perfection is constantly evolving. What we may have found to be perfect today, in the future as we have increased our knowledge and skills we will find the work to be flawed with imperfections.
Completion vs perfection thought pattern is when we reach a state of completion, while acknowledging there is room for continual improvement. Goal setting is productive when we are able to reach completion dates. Discouragement occurs, when our focus is on perfection of a goal.
Breaking down goals into daily action steps, allows us to remain focused on our progress towards completing the current goal. Upon completion, we analyze our progress and set new goals towards enhancing what we have accomplished.
While obtaining feedback is important in our pursuit of transformation, we also have to be aware that another person's viewpoint, is based upon their own past history and goal setting objectives for themselves. Part of our evolution is in learning how to tune in those who will help us progress, and tuning out those who will cause distractions or hinder progress.
Today, let's reflect on the difference between completion vs perfection. Let us establish guidelines on how we look at our goal making strategy, and our goal reaching mindset.
