The year 2022... the year I step into fantasy and fiction as I continue to travel upward in my journey as an author. It is a path I extend my hand and invite you to join me. It will be a year of mystery and adventures. The future is unknown to any of us, but together we place one foot in front of the other and face what lies ahead. It will be a journey of discovery. A small moment in time with great impact in our lives, should we choose to accept the challenges and learn the lessons which they will teach us.
I love January 1st. It's an exciting day where my energy is high. I've spent thirty days of the previous year reflecting on the goals I set, what lessons were learned through my failures, and how I applied those lessons to succeed.
January 1st I begin to the implementation of my new perspective as I my journey takes a new twist into the unknown. The questions I ask myself in January are:
- What do I fear?
- Why do I fear it?
- What can I learn by facing my fear?
With these three questions, I can begin to strategize my year. My perspective is focused and I am able to step forward with confidence. The answers to those questions?
- I fear writing fiction.
- Because it is a totally new writing style.
- By facing my fear I can expand my writing skills which will benefit all my writing.
With the questions answered, the journey begins. I invite you to come journey with me in this land of discovery. The possibilities are only limited by our own inabilities to think beyond the moment.
