Success is a choice. When we focus on the outcome of success, rather than the fear of failure, we choose to succeed by our actions.

Rip and Real - Introduction

This month we are going to take a different approach to our thirty-day challenges, by looking straight into the mirror, ripping off those masks, and getting real with ourselves. Long before wearing a mask was a social norm, we all put figurative masks upon our face to hide from the world, features about ourselves we desired to keep hidden. Rip and Real Thirty-Day Motivational Challenge, will be a very sassy and productive month.

Everyday we should be taking at least a five minute mirror session where we look ourselves in the eye and respectfully do some straight talk. While this may seem like an odd exercise to take, I would challenge that there isn't a single individual that hasn't looked in the mirror and commented on themselves before.

Whatever is spoken, should be respectful but straightforward. Our choices and behavior begin with the thoughts we rehearse in our mind. This month, let's strive to take it to the next level, by creating affirmations of self-empowerment and improvement.

Let us spend a month fine tuning our self-discipline and self-motivation, by getting real with the reasons that are holding us back.
