Life is filled with excitement, energy, and adventure when we are aligned with what we are passionate about. Our passion becomes an extension of our lives and who we are. We when believe in our capability to achieve, we find that our need for validation diminishes.
Setbacks and failures are inevitable in life. When we have an understanding that these experiences are a guide, not the final destination, we begin to see challenges we face in life with a different perspective. In stead of saying, 'Why did this happen?' we can say, 'What am I suppose to learn?'
Every event and individual which comes into our lives, comes to help us learn more about ourselves and our interaction with life. If we want to improve our relationships and our emotional interaction with life, then we have to dedicate time to understand the lessons being taught.
We see things on the news or social media and we have an emotional response. Oftentimes, there is nothing we can do to change the situation, yet the emotions still arise. Do we understand these emotions? Do these emotions drive positive or negative changes in our lives? Are we bettering the lives of those around us, by the choices we make in a state of emotional response?
It goes back to time. How much time are we willing to take each day to spend understanding ourselves? How much time are we willing to take each to work on areas of our life we want to improve upon. There is no overnight success. Are we willing to dedicate weeks, months, or even decades to work on a dream we have?
Time will go by regardless of what decision we make. We can either look back upon time and smile, knowing we have given are all to improving upon what we desire, or we can look back with regrets.
Let's take some time to reflect on what we are passionate about, and what daily action we can take to succeed. Each day, we are simply turning another page in our book of life. There are many more books in our series called life.
When we align with our passion it becomes an extension to a life which never needs validation to live, breath, and grow.
Time equates to value. You can't improve upon what you desire, if you don't put in the time. There is no overnight success.
Your story is never over. You turn a page, finish a chapter, and end a book. Then you begin to write the next book in your series of life.
What will you do today, to build a better tomorrow?
