We all have times when we need someone to extend their hand and say to us, "I believe in you!' Every individual, no matter how successful they may appear, will have moments when this act of kindness will help strengthen them to continue. By lifting each other up rather than tearing each other down, we as humanity, continue to evolve and grow.
Lifting up another is a rewarding experience in life. To lift someone up, you first must show you see their value and have confidence in their ability to succeed. Showing them this respect, will help to booster their confidence in themselves.
Confidence in yourself is gained, when you apply consistent action towards your desires and goals. Self-discipline and self-motivation is the key to success. Setbacks will happen. Mistakes will be made, but when one is willing to learn from them, valuable insight into how to improve can be learned and applied.
If we are not willing to show consistency with ourselves, this can creep into our relationships and cause difficulty. By first learning discipline within, we can expand out to how we engage with others. Confidence in our abilities will be found, when we can show our dedication and commitment to what we are striving to achieve. When we invest in ourselves, we will find others more willing to invest in us.
When a setback occurs, they are often tied to the actions of another individual we were relying upon. Rather than spend our time and energy seeking revenge, take the time to learn from the experience. One setback can become a step forward, if we challenge our mindset to see how the experience has laid a foundation which we can build upon.
There are always opportunities to explore, if one area we are focusing on doesn't work out. Looking back, challenges and lost opportunities can eventually be seen as positive because it caused us to go a different direction and obtain success with another opportunity.
Instead of spending our time in anger and fighting, spend that time evaluating and strategizing on how you can succeed by modifying or changing our current direction.
