I'm focused. I'm committed, and I am fiercely engaged... in achieving my goals.
Goal setting is about developing self-discipline and self-motivation. We can't always rely on others to motivate us. At times when we aren't feeling motivated, that is when self-discipline kicks in. The most important thing to remember, is small actions lead to great results. On the days when you're not feeling it, just focus on taking one small step forward. Every step forward brings you closer to achieving.
I visualize a blue ember within me. I take a gentle breath and ignite it, visualizing that blue strength flowing through my body and into my mind. I visualize the feeling of blue flame wings extending on my back. Opening my eyes, I visualize they would be a flaming blue color. This helps me feel invigorated and have the energy to take one action towards my goals.
We all have times when we need to rest our mind and body. What's important, is to train your mind, that when your mind is feeling discouraged and your body is exhausted that you are the power within you, to take one more step forward.
So blow that blue ember to life. Feel the flame flow through your veins, giving you the strength and courage to continue on. Feel your wings extend, and rise one more.
