We barely finished celebrating the close of 2020, when 2021 decided to step in and let us know that our journey isn't over. I know that there is a lot of anxiety right now with the current events. Remember, with strength and courage we must continue to press forward.
Now more than ever, we need to have some stability in our personal lives. It is our time, to show our self-discipline and confidence for ourselves. Events that occurring around us are out of our control. Our ability to understand our emotional response to life events, will help us navigate through any upcoming storm. To find stability, we must dig our roots deeper into a foundation of belief in our ability to overcome.
What are you doing to help you maintain your focus and emotional strength?
January is usually the time of year we begin to engage in our New Year's resolution. Time will pass, regardless of whether we pursue these goals or not. We will either celebrate our achievements or have regrets for giving up.
Despite all the distractions out there, make sure you are time-blocking. Break down your goals into smaller steps. Break them down further, if need be, into daily action. And remember... every small step forward is progress.
