The Demon in the Freezer was recommended to me by author Peter Cawdron. Demon in the Freezer is about the efforts that were made to eradicate small pox. Preston shares how our world was able to get rid of this deadly disease by immediate isolation of the areas when it showed up and aggressive inoculation of those who could have been exposed.
It was due to the conflicting opinions of many in the medical and scientific community that the virus was not totally eradicated, but left in a freezer for further research and exploration.
Richard,
I found this book to be well written and documented in helping to understand the inner workings of those who held the decision to eliminate this deadly disease within their hands. I found it unfathomable to argue against the annihilation of this deadly disease, due to personal curiosity to its evolutionary ability. Truth is often stranger than fiction.
