Breaking Through - Day Twenty-Five
Today we are going to reset our mindset on how we think of failure. Most of society has been programed to associate failure as a personal reflection of our capability. Yet, when we look back at our childhood, we failed a lot. How many times did it takes us to learn how to tie our shoe? How many times did we get angry and even break down crying?
What about learning to ride a bike? Skate? Swim? Play different sports. As we were learning, we failed a lot. Our determination to be independent and succeed, overweighed our need for approval.
If fearing to fail caused us to quit when things became hard, we'd still be having others tie our shoe.
