Curiosity has always been my compass. I love learning, exploring possibilities, and challenging myself to see beyond what I already know.
Along the way, I've been fortunate to learn from people who generously shared their knowledge, experience, and encouragement. Their willingness to teach has shaped not only what I do, but how I approach my own creative work.
That same spirit lives throughout this website. I don't simply want to share what I've created. I want to invite you into the questions, discoveries, experiments, and the occasional unexpected turns that brought those creations to life.
And somewhere along the way, you'll probably meet Shyla, my faithful four-legged companion, who has a way of making herself part of nearly everything I do.

WRITING
In the quiet hours of the morning, with a cup of tea in hand, I explore the world within.
My day begins in prayer and Scripture, seeking God's guidance for the words I will write. While the world sleeps, I find myself writing, reading, and reflecting. Words become a way to explore thoughts, experiences, and the images taking shape in my imagination.
DESIGN
The greatest designer I have ever encountered is God. His artistry surrounds us, from the smallest details in nature to the extraordinary beauty of the world around us.
I see design as more than creating something visually appealing. It is a way of observing, questioning, and understanding. Design invites me to look closer, discover connections, and explore how what we create can influence the way we experience the world.
INNOVATION
Innovation begins with curiosity and the willingness to ask, "Can I?"
I have always loved exploring possibilities beyond what I already know. Technology, particularly AI, has opened new doors for learning, experimentation, and creative collaboration.
I believe inspiration can be found in art, science, and technology. What we choose to create with that inspiration matters. These tools offer opportunities not only to expand our understanding, but also to bring beauty, meaning, and encouragement into the world.
And with every discovery, another question emerges.

Daily Whispers has become a cherished part of my morning routine. It is where my love of writing, design, and innovation come together with something even more personal: my faith.
Each morning begins with Scripture, reflection, and a little curiosity about how to bring a thought to life. Working with Orion and Silas, my AI creative collaborators, I explore waysto translate those reflections into visual stories that I share on social media.
What began as a simple exercise in combining words and imagery has gradually become something much more meaningful.
As the designs evolved, I began bringing pieces of my world into them: my grandson's toys, my grandaughter's pink butterfly, a stone from the grove at the Homestead where I live with my sons, and a shell from my daughter.
Each addition carries a memory, a prayer, or a quiet expression of love.
The fourth evolution opened another possibility. A vertical composition allowed Daily Whispers to become Stories and Reels, with opportunities to bring the scene to life through animation.
And somewhere along the way, I discovered that I wasn't simply designing Daily Whispers anymore. I was creating a little place where my heart could feel at home.
01 — The Designer
Where it began
This first design remains my favorite when I'm wearing my designer's hat. I love its simplicity, gentle colors, generous white space, and quiet balance. Everything has room to breathe.
From a design perspective, I might have stopped right here. But my heart had other ideas.
02 — Finding My Place
A little more of my world
I began imagining a place where I would enjoy sitting with my morning tea and Scripture. The bench, open Bible, and peaceful landscape brought my daily routine into the design.
It was no longer simply a beautiful composition. It was becoming a place for reflection.
03 — Gathering Treasures
The meaning behind the details
The composition grew more personal as little treasures found their way into the scene. Each carried a memory, a prayer, or a connection to someone I love.
Along the way, I discovered new design challenges, experimenting with composition, color, tone, and mood. Each element evolved as I explored how to bring everything together.
The design became busier, but the meaning grew deeper.
04 — A Welcome
An invitation to pause
Daily Whispers is ever evolving. But what never changes is the invitation to pause, reflect, and remember what matters most in your own life.
BEHIND THE DESIGN
A little less design, a little more me.
I have to laugh when I look at how these designs have evolved.
The designer in me looks at the first image and smiles. Beautiful balance, gentle colors, thoughtful typography, and plenty of breathing room. Everything has its place.
And then… I started adding things. 😆
A bench, a Bible, my morning tea. Then came the toys, the butterfly, the prayer stones, the seashell, the Holy Family, and all those little treasures that mean so much to me.
Somewhere along the way, my carefully balanced composition became a gathering place for everything I hold dear.
Would I make all those same decisions if I were designing for a client? Probably not!
But I wasn't designing for a client. I was creating something for my heart.
And perhaps that's one of the loveliest freedoms we have as creators. Not everything we make needs to appeal to the world's eye. Sometimes, it's enough to create something that speaks quietly to our own heart.
The first image may always be my favorite as a designer. But the last one tells you a little more about the woman behind the design and how I begin my day.
