When was the last time you found yourself having to practice patience, with yourself? Day fourteen we will be reflecting on our ability to patient in our struggle to have patience.
Take a moment and untie your shoelace and then tie it back up again. That simple task is easy for us now. It is easy because we had to learn patience, while we struggled with learning how to tie our own shoe. Learning to tie our own shoe meant independence. The thought of being able to put on our shoes and tie them so we could go outside a play, was a strong motivator for us to patiently take the time to practice how to do what would become, a simple task as an adult.
Why do we think new activities as an adult will be any different? Today is the day to patiently think about your thoughts on patience.
