Day Twelve focuses on how we demonstrate what we are speaking. We have all heard the saying, 'Talk is cheap!' Demonstrating who we are, begins with our thoughts. That's right, it always begins within.
Think It > Feel It > Speak It > Demonstrate It
How many times, do we rehearse in our minds how we are going to respond, "if" someone says "this" to us? We have the scenario played out so well in our minds, that we simple step into the well written script and become the actor. The problem, many times, is that the script we have written in our minds is often drastically different than the script the other person has written in their mind.
Today, reflect on how your script lead to unnecessary conflict. Reflect on your retrospective perspective and how your script would have changed with this new information. You may smile or shake your head as you recall the last time you demonstrated your thoughts.
Fears hold us back. They are usually tied to a loss. When we face our fears and explore where these fears were planted, and what we are afraid to loose, we can address the initial thoughts surrounding that particular fear.
